GPC Episode 1 - Tango & Cash (1989)
Guilty Pleasures Cinema | Posted on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 10:26AM
The GPC debuts after nearly two years of development (complete with rushed imperfections and quite possibly some physical ailments imposed onto myself) with the underrated Stallone/Russell buddy cop movie Tango & Cash! It'll only get smoother from here!
And yes, I noticed the mispelling "Pleaures" in the end URL and am aware of the odd frame jumps and overall low audio... but onward and upward I say!

I've been waiting SO long for this. This was a great review, you have good energy, good observations, and a great sense of humour about it all. Most importantly, it feels genuine, and honest. I've never seen Tango & Cash, but watching you, watching how much you adore this movie, makes me want to see it. Even if it IS cheesy as all get out.
And since this is probably the only time I'll be able to say it, first! ;)

You know, I'd never seen Tango & Cash before, I didn't think a movie could get even more stereotypically 80's than this, but.. Wow. Definitely will put this on my list.
I so love Tango & Cash (I own it on DVD). Its' one of those movies that you have to watch. Heck a young Terri Hatcher...and from what I can remember it coined FUBAR.
I call B.S. on the two guys breaking the windshields to fall out of the truck. I know first hand that you would crush your self against the steering wheel for the driver and dash for the passenger. This is as bad a "Black Dog" where everytime they shift a gear the air compressor does the overflow check.
