Hyperbole 19 - John Wick
Hyperbole is back after a few months with an awesome movie out of nowhere, John Wick! This is the single best revenge action movie I think I've ever seen. Watch for more!

The GPC returns with it's first ever review where the movie was provided by the people who made it themselves!
I saw a Facebook comment about a review and made my own comment saying I'd love a chance to review the movie too, their PR team got in touch with me and here we go with a fitting start to October 2014: WolfCop!
That's right, now and forever WolfCop will be the first movie I had official contact from the movie studio/producer/team/etc and I couldn't be more proud to have THAT be the movie to achieve it with!
It was purely a review copy that was provided, I received no promotional or financial consideration whatsoever. I DID get some potential ideas for coming back from the dead though!
So is it any good? Consider this quote from the email when I got the screener: "We love your focus on the guilty pleasures!"
Let's do this!

The GPC returns with Hercules! Not The Rock, not The Legendary Journeys, not Disney, but Lou Ferrigno himself!
This movie has Lou Ferrigno's Hercules battling various mechanical monsters and all sorts of other insane stuff with gods and science and creation and constellations and continents and random Italian women all while someone fiddles with some VFX consoles and a soundboard. You need to see it to believe it.
To help verify the facts within I've also gotten the help of The Unemployed Historian! Surely this is right up his alley!
Muppet Wish Day 2014 is here, and once again the Isle of Rangoon and DJ SoundBite join forces, this time to review The Muppet Movie!
I appear again, and sing. Singing badly. OK its a glorified gratuitous montage-based cameo BUT STILL check it out, these guys are awesome.
Here's the official description:
"DJ Soundbite is back on a quest to find Kermit the Frog through the magic of a review of the Muppet Movie. He's dragging Starchibald, Sunny Jim, the Blockbuster Chick, Randy the Comedian, Nash, and a host of other guest stars along with him! Can they find Kermit before an evil lawyer (played by Dubious Khan/Erin Mills) ceases and desists them the hard way?
Celebrate Jim Henson's birthday with us on the second annual Muppet Wish Day!"
The GPC returns and goes to one of THE core 90s childhood memories: TURTLES!
Yes the oft-recommended movie finally gets it's due as I review the 1990 original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Is it horrendously dated, do the effects and suits and masks hold up, is the fighting up to expectations? Does this movie even belong as a GPC review?
Only one way to find out! Cowabunga!
